Comments Thread For: How to prepare for Canelo Alvarez? Be ready for everything, says Edgar Berlanga's trainer

Fingers crossed he doesn’t bend over like Charlo or Callum Smith and comes to fight. If he brings some heat his stock will only rise.

At least Brainlanga appears to have zero ability box and move, so he’s going to have to slug it out with Cinnabon and produce some entertainment, for as long as it lasts.

I already see how this is going to go.

Berlanga gets the (undeserved) chance of a life time. Get's KO'd vs Canelo but still gets a few paydays vs Munguia, Plant, perhaps some other Canelo leftovers (which he loses to them all). Will be forgotten entirely in 3-5 years (if that) tops.

            That sounds about right.

When all else fails (and it will) he can always fall back on biting Canelo.

I don't care because I'm not watching this farce, if indeed something interesting happens, I'll watch the reply. Not wasting my precious time on this bs.

He might choose to "box", after all every boxer that fought ginger has kick his @$$.

                    1. Praise him highly and repeatedly in interview
                    2. Pick opponents that u will do well against but dont look too good
                    3. Praise him highly and repeatedly in interview
                    4. Get ready to be fast tracked up the rankings of one of the belts when identified as potential opponent
                    5. Profit
