Boots has never seen an actual challenge that he wanted anything to do with. Almost 30 and he could have fought Bud years ago and turned it down....he fights B level guys for short term paydays so he can keep the title of "best gym fighter ever", it makes him more mysterious.

Norman may lose to him. But for God's sake, Hearn going to act like Boots is some big draw that casuals love, and like Norman is some nobody who lucked into a belt. Norman beat a power hitter in Santillan and came out of nowhere, his profile and name are a buzz in the sport right now. Ennis beat Bud's leftover from years back Ava, and now he is the money man???

Neither guy is a big name. Boots has cred with those on the inside of the sport, but casuals do not know him. More people are talking about Norman after his gutty win against an actual good opponent. But somehow Boots is the money train and Norman deserves half of what Boots gets?

Yeah and Boots will be rematching Karen in a snoozefest that no one will watch.

Norman is 23, he isn't in his prime yet. He has proven that he is for real. He has a belt. Boots is almost 30 and has shown consistently over his career that he wants low risk opponents.

Norman is taking all the risk. Boots apparently is going to tear through and unify a bunch of divisions and all of that. Norman is right to ask for 50/50 imo. The fight at WW since he beat Santillan is him vs Boots. Boots won't do numbers with Barrios or Stanionis like he will with Norman. Norman is a big part of the draw, the unknown guy who surprised a tough as hell Santillan and showed big heart and skill.

Boot is arrogant, fights B level guys once a year and then whines when people criticize him. He has a few fanboys but he is not a big name.

I give Norman credit for holding his ground. Boots needs him, not the other way around. Norman will get better and better until he enters his prime. Boots is who he is.

If you believe that Boots is going to Germany to fight a guy he already beat 120-107 on the cards to fight for normal money, then I have some beachfront property in Wayne, Indiana for sale if you're interested.

Norman has the right to ask for whatever he wants, however you’re indirectly advocating for a young champion to purposely sit on his belt by fighting lesser competition on undercards while also attempting to age out an older threat.

Isn’t that what we complain about as fans? I have no horse in the race but it’s interesting how Norman is a champion when it comes to the purse (demanding 50/50) but then he’s suddenly too young to take the risk of a unification (he’s 23 and not in his prime yet)
