Nonsense that Boots may have to rematch a guy he won every round against and all he did to deserve a rematch was beat 3 fringe contenders to get a title shot.

Somebody influential, like a Bob Arum or Garry Jonas (ProBox) or whoever, needs to talk to Turki Alishiki, before he leaves, about forming a new boxing league with all the boxing promotions, big and small, united under one roof.

If there ever was a time for boxing to finally have one, organized, boxing commission, (with Turki providing the funding) this is it. Window of opportunity is closing fast.

We’ve been in desperate need of it.

Its the one constant that I’ve seen requested by longtime fans and those involved in the sport as well.

Won’t be Jonas, not yet at least.

Watched his interview on “Thaboxingvoice” like a month or so ago, and he doesn’t seem to trust Turki or his plans, yet.

It’ll be Hearn & Warren most likely, and/or possibly Dana/TKO that partner with Turki for a boxing league since Turki is involved with UFC/MMA now.

I recall an Australian guy here raving about Danny Green knocking out Roy Jones. He said it was one of the greatest win in Australian history. When I reminded him that Jones was 40 years old and washed up, he said I was making excuses for my American brother.

Well, if it’s Boots, then Boots is about to notch one of the greatest victories in boxing history. Amiright?
