When I see the pic I hear that song from that 80's movie Mannequin.

And if this world runs out of lovers We'll still have each other

Boxing continues to decline and we must blame the boxers. These fighters make a lot of money, but retire with no bragging rights. When you look at the greats, they have "fight of the year" titles, they have matches that fans talk about for years, they have taken time from fighting beatable opponents to taking on the occasional challenge that pleases fans.

I can't say this so easily about today's fighters. They are killing the sport. Mayweather's last 10 opponents were a joke. Canelo is starting to make this same argument for himself.

I saw Lenard/Duran, Mayweather/Hernandez and this is not that, this isn't the sport of boxing it's junk entertainment. Eddie Hearn, Lenard Ellerbe and the ass kissers on the tube are always selling the next fast and furious movie as if you hadn't seen the same movie 12 times and that's fine, but don't pee on me and tell me it's raining.

If I can accurately pick every winner, and how they win....it's not boxing it's not even a competitive sport, it's a repetitive sequel.

And honestly, I'm embarrassed that it takes someone from outside of boxing to make competitive fights that fans actually want to see.

One of the problems they face with ppv cards is this - because of the high cost and perceived low value of the cards in the last few years, people's habits have changed - possibly permanently. Free streaming has become better quality, more stable and reliable and easily found. In other words, the horse has bolted out of the gate. Good luck bringing it back in i.e. charging for it. For some people, they will never go back to paying, ever again. People with more disposable cash will pay a smaller amount of money, say $20 to $30 for the privilege of watching it in high res, on the big screen with pause and rewind capabilities. I have noticed how my own habits have changed over the last 30 to 40 years - from going to the stadiums and watching fights in really bad conditions, even getting rained on, paying $$$$$ for the privilege, to paying $50 for watching fights on the big screen (lounge and/or home cinema) to streaming it for free from my study on my large screen PC and sometimes juts watching the highlights on YouTube. Just another point of view - technology has changed our expectations and our habits forever.

The price should be cut in half. It’s just not worth $90 and if Canelo fights another nobody on Cinco de Mayo he should hang it up. There’s nothing else left for him to prove.

That’s why canelo hasn’t hit really big ppv numbers in 6 yrs. This card is worth $20 tops so yes, Turks idea makes sense.
Not me. First time in three years I’m not ordering a Canelo fight.

                      This pick is atrocious.
