It finally gives him some credibility though. Why would Bud fight him now? Cause he got his old belt via email? It’s like telling Usyk to go fight Opetaia.

Because Boots would probably be the second biggest fight of Bud's career after Spence. Would be a bigger fight than the Madrimov fight for sure and I don't think they'd need Enimem and car giveaways to sell it. Accolades aren't what make fights big.

Completely disagree. The likes of Porter and Khan were way bigger names than Boots.

Khan was washed and nobody cared any more. Porter sold as much as Boots did against Ava when?

Khan could come out retirement tomorrow and he’d still sell more than Boots.

Porter and Khan fought everybody. Boots has fought nobody. Far bigger names, far better resumes.

In the UK maybe. Never in my life did i hear people say they wanted to see Crawford fight Amir Khan lol. Not ever. I do see people say they want to see Bud fight Boots though.

Canelo vs the Edgar Berlanga is mopping the floor with the MMA event on the same night ticket sales wise. People do not care about accolades. Boxing snobs do.

In the UK definitely and maybe in the US too.

Who outside of hardcore boxing fans want to see Bud vs Boots, or even know who Boots is?

Khan and Porter were far bigger names and far more accomplished.

You're gonna keep ****ing the drum about accomplishment for some reason and I really don't know why. Bud might be the best boxer in the world currently but a simple scroll through his boxrec shows that "earning it" was never an issue when it comes to being a Crawford opponent.

                      Technically, it was.

It's the fight that made him a 3 division champion.
