The reason why I wouldn't joke about it this time is because this guy has a life or death alcohol problem. Plus he's not the only one. Probably 80% of posters on this site have alcohol issues and I'm quite sure there are a lot D.W.I.s on this website too. Thank God I stopped drinking before it got too late but I can tell you that everytime I did something silly in my life there was alcohol in my system.

Hopefully this was an omen for him in that no one was injured so as a wake up call, this is far better than realizing you just killed someone. Hoping he takes this and cleans up. Alcohol destroys the body, regardless if someone ever leaves the house or not. I would love it if Hopkins could reach out to guys going through this. Hopkins treats his body like a temple and eats organic foods from Whole Foods.

It's easy to drink and drive anybody have common sense???? He got caught .This my friends is the game of life . DUI is a major buisness in every state! It makes money for jail, lawyers, programs, and insurance companies. Yet there is probably a liquor store down the street from the police station. Drink all you want , just gotta be smarter than driving .15

I love alcohol. Everyone here is BSing themselves like their an expert. Sometimes crazy things happen in life . It's your fault not alcohol. Blaming on alcohol is an easy excuse. I'm gonna drink my whiskey eat steak. And watch boxing fights on the internet. The situation is deeper than that. The law makes it easy to blame anything on alcohol, like it's a sickness, but there are liquor stores everywhere. Blame yourself. Crack a beer enjoy life !!!!!!!

To much alcohol basically changes the chemical structure of most human beings and a lot of people don't know "when to say when". As far as there being an over proliferation of liquor stores, man I say it all the time that whatever government official created the policy of building multiple liquor stores right smack dab in the middle of a residential community needs to be tar, feathered and beheaded a la ISIS style!!
