Hopefully this leads to better opposition.

How old is he? He's young and has a decent resume for a prospect.

'Junior lightweight contender Ernesto “Tito” Mercado'. Apparently there are no more second drafts or proof-reading anymore.

Tito is a nice kid and an excellent prospect. Unfortunately, though, he’s saddled by the most notorious stage parent in boxing.

22 and he does have stand-out names: Velez, Lundy, Nakathila. His resume looks good on the surface, but we have no clue how good he is. Hopefully Matchroom will remedy that. He's consistently fighting smaller and older opponents. Clearly he has power, and guys with power need stiffer opposition. Put him in there with guys like Campa, Ponce, and Tagoe.

Two or three fights down the road he might have to bust a sweat. Mismatch room.
