It's funny how Canelo has no problem with these inexperienced, undeserving dudes being lined up but when an actual threat (Benavides) being lined up he gets pissed. I'm not saying Canelo never took on any threats but the ducking of Benavides was unexcusable. Especially when you're saying he's undeserving, hasn't earned it, who has he fought? Well, Berlanga hasn't done sh**, I like Pacheco, but he's really inexperienced and really hasn't done much, I do think he will make some noise but still needs time and I bet Canelo would entertain the fight. Not too mention, that the whole excuse Canelo used against Benavides, saying he doesn't fight other Mexicans wouldn't be a problem all of sudden. Last time I checked Pacheco is Mexican (Mexican-American) and Munguia was definitely Mexican yet those excuses went away all of a sudden....
So the likely road is canelo vs Berlanga a, Eubank jr, and then Pacheco. Good thing for canelo, his fans are ****** and really don’t care about him making real fights that real fans want to see.
Pacheco is 6'4 , 6'5 , Canelo is 5'8. Without even getting into reach , that's a huge size advantage. I'd be surprised if Canelo chooses him , especially with size being a big part of the reason that he won't fight Benavidez or Morrell.
