Berlanga has looked butt-****ing average against fringe level guys once he started stepping up. Crawford, although not looking spectacular, was still facing a talented, albeit untested, guy in his 4th weight class. Not comparable at all. Berlanga somehow winning would show the precipitous drop in Canelo rather than Edgar being anything special. It would be a flash in the pan moment.

Berlanga already bringing the haters out . I wasn't born in PR. I lived there for middle and high school. There is a different culture from there in regards to bloodline. You ever been to the Bronx? It's like home for Ricans. The whole NJ/NY area has a big Rican community chico. With ties back to family living in the island . At least he speaks 2 languages. Not Canelo. Have you seen Berlanga fight ? Except for his first 16 fights there's been zero excitement and nothing remotely amazing in his fights. He's boring in the ring.
