As a Dawson fan, I admit he's not the most entertaining watch, but he's not boring by any means.

I expect some open seats in Hartford but I think we'll see a decent turnout.

I will say though, living ten minutes from Hartford, I haven't seen much of anything in terms of advertising. I've heard some things on the radio, but that's about it.

That being said this article (if it really is one) is completely biased and false. Dawson has proven to be a good champion and certainly not a paper champ.

The real truth is everyone in the boxing business knows that no matter what Chad Dawson and his team will tell you, Chad Dawson was not in favor of fighting a tough rematch with Glen Johnson. HBO has forced Chad Dawson another undeserving fighter like Victor Ortiz into a situation he is not ready for" John Wexler explained.

What I find very strange is that Gary Shaw Productions received higher priced offers from venues in Nevada & California to host this highly anticipated rematch but instead chose to accept a lower priced offer in Hartford? The live gate for the last two Chad Dawson fights in Las Vegas have not done well. All of the great fighters of this era can sell tickets anywhere especially in Las Vegas. I thought that boxing promoters wanted to make money but in the case of Gary Shaw for some strange reason he wants to lose money. Gary Shaw needs to be honest with himself and realize that by promoting Chad Dawson he is losing money, Chad Dawson can't sell tickets in Las Vegas and he can't even sell tickets in his own home town. Chad Dawson can't sell tickets anywhere because he is a paper champion who makes boring television fights that force boxing fans to turn the channel and watch UFC.

Dawson can't draw. We know this already. Which is why we want a fight with Hopkins or Calzaghe. you become a name after you fight a name. Its as simple as that.

Quite ****** to compare a legitimate top fighter in Chad Dawson to Victor Ortiz,who is still a prospect at this point.Dawson has some good names on his resume

Antonio Tarver 2x(past his prime but still dangerous)
Eric Harding(old but a very good test)
Glen Johnson(old as he is,fights like a young man in his prime)
Tomasz Adamek(great win,doesn't need any explaining really)

I'm not a fan,trust me.I'd much rather watch a Jean Pascal than a Chad Dawson but this article is ****** and wrong.

Dawson needs to go after the Pascals and the Clous,two young,very good fighters
