Comments Thread For: Ready or not, Christian Mbilli positions for Canelo Alvarez

It wasn't perfect in the eyes of those who have boxed for a living, but Christian Mbilli's record remains unblemished, and with another proving-ground bout likely looming, a showdown with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez in 2025 appears to be nearing.

Politics and promoters aside, is there a possibility of Munguia vs Mbilli? Sounds like a fight of the year contender for 2025.

Don't know why but I think Eubank Jr in Saudi Arabia or UK is positioned much better for Canelo. 'Retired' Mall Charlo is there too for Canelo. Canelo is on his way to retirement, so he takes the less risky fights available.

This kid got exposed. He didn't have an answer when he couldn't get Ukraine out early. He got popped by a one armed fighter. Imagine if Ukraine didn't get hurt. Sorry but this kid is another berlanger

That would be preferable over Canelo v Mbilli. But let’s be real- Canelo will over pay Mbilli for an easy win.

They all want to head straight to the money fight. They want nothing to do with the others.

Mbilli has to wait. Bud Crawford is next!
