Everybody is asking why they don't fight. The answer is simple. Oscar said it recently. Shakur is demanding huge amounts of money for every fight. He says he is willing to fight everybody in public, calls our Tank constantly and then in private he asks for a huge purse that no promoter is willing to pay. That is why he is not with Top Rank any more and that is why nobody has broken their legs to sign him up yet. Both Arum and De La Hoya have confirmed this fact.

Doesn't matter. That's what they all said about Crawford in the Spence negotiations. Yet the fight happened. It takes two to tango. If one side doesn't want it, then no amount of pricing the other side down will make it happen.
Like they say you can't put the cart ahead of the horse. Let Tank's team make an offer first, then we'll see what Shakur's team comes up with.

Adding, Shakur is not a draw. He hasn't made a lot of fans due to his 'safety first' style. Shakur not making reasonable offers to Tank. He has a belt but wants too much for it. Tank's trainer is right.

Shakur also turned down Haney for undisputed because he thought he was worth more money. I don't think he understands the "pay your dues" part or the "take the short money for better opportunities later." He's not the star he thinks he is. TBH I think casuals shun him for his horrible fighting style. The only way he gets a big fight is if Turki throws money at it. Tank already burned that bridge.

all tank has to do is make shakur an offer, like 25% or something and let shakur decide if he wants to take it, simple really, then the argument is about fairness etc, haney did just that, i think shakur takes the offer this time tho, he knows hes got some issues in that area that a big fight might solve

I'm still not getting what fans want for Tank's next fight. Okay, forget about Stevenson if you think he's pricing himself out and he's boring.

Who do you want Davis to fight next? Can we at least have an answer to this? Would you prefer to see him sit it out till next year comes?

how does anyone know about any offer levels if any have been made etc, until something concrete is heard from one of the guys then assume nothing i would say, tank will say we made him an offer and he refused or shakur will say i got no offer, until then its all pure speculation

Davis and his ego will not fight Stevenson. Davis only wants to cherry pick safe opponents. I'm not a Stevenson fan, but this should be obvious to all by now.
