Comments Thread For: Guido Vianello stops one-eyed Arslanbek Makhmudov in career-best win

It wasn't pretty, but Guido Vianello took a significant step toward heavyweight contention Saturday in Quebec City, Canada, by outmaneuvering and pounding Arslanbek Makhmudov for a stoppage win.

Canada never fails to cheat or try and steal an advantage and they think no one notice the BS! This fight should have been stopped prior to when it finally was. The ringside doctor showed he was corrupt as well and anything they could do for the local fighter that wasn’t fair they did. I was so happy this bum of a heavyweight was beaten again, but Canada still haven’t fixed their corrupt boxing system.

Guido should have two straight good wins in a row now. Especially after the last fight when he clearly beat efe.

Yep absolutely outrageous stuff, not counting the KD, telling him to close his own eye and holding 3 fingers up multiple times and similar BS in the Mibili fight with the rabbit punches and what was arguably a KD in that fight.

I thought I was the only one who mentioned the blatant rabbit punches that Mbilli was throwing. The ref didn't give him even one warning all night even though he was throwing rabbit punches throughout the fight.

I agree. Fast on hands and feet. Stringa chin. Will be interesting to see what he will do Next.

Maybe we shouldn`t write off Hrgovic? This Vianello guy lost by a stoppage to a journeyman Rice..

Vianello obviously made some improvements in his game. His Ajagba fight was very close also..

Maybe we should get Ajagba rematch next.

Will this be considered Under 7.5 or Over 7.5?
