    Denis Boytsov

I saw he jumped Haye in The Ring rankings (I'm not sure why... I can't see anyone on his resume who is better than 2 Guns Barrett).

How good does he look? Is he going to make some serious noise in the division in a year or two?

He can make some noise especially with the way the division is now. He's got some pretty decent power

He's reaaaal young but comin long fast, but there's a lot of German promoted talent comin through heavyweight rankings. Boystov came in a little heavy vs. Gavern, he needs to be under 225. There's been a rumor that he will fight Chagaev after Chagaev get's a tune up fight. That'd be interesting. Also this Syrian fightin in Germany don't look bad at all named Manuel Charr.

        He's good and he's improving.

You gotta realize he turned pro at 18 so he's still growing and learning.Like somebody said at 226 he wa a bit heavy last time out.
He is impressive against his decent opposition but has yet to setp up vs a top 10 fighter.
        Time will tell.

I only hope Boytsov's promoters don't throw him to the "wolves" too soon. I'd like to see him fight 3-4 more times against good opposition before he gets a title shot...

Prime Taras *****ko is better than shot Monte Barrett, and without a doubt, Ondrej Pala would defeat the 2008-2009 version of Monte.

And the way Boytsov has destroyed his past three heavyweight opponents is impressive. No one ever did that to *****ko before. Jason Gavern isn't a very good technical boxer, but he is durable and had never been stopped before - Boytsov knocked him down four time. He would have been stopped in the second round while being battered against the ropes, except the referee saved him with a standing eight count.

Universum (or Spotlight, I don't really get the distinction between the two) promotes Sebastian Kober, who is supposed to be pretty okay too.

I boxrec'd him a while ago, He's either KO'd his opponent or lost, at most, one round when it went to the cards. That's a pretty solid record of performance. I'd like to see him in against someone a bit better, but like it's been said, he's young.
