I don’t think I’ve ever agreed with this poster about anything but he’s certainly got a point here.

It’s evident that both Turku and Canelo are in a pissing contest and their egos are too big to yield. Can Turki pull out $200m out of his ass and make the fight? I’m sure he could.

But that $200 million dollar offer is so ludicrously high that even putting up half of that seems like a stretch. It’s a big money fight, but that’s something like Mayweather/Pacquiao level, and this Canelo/Benny ain’t that.

Hell, I too would go and fish at Turki’s lake and see if I could bait him into giving me $200 million. That’s generational wealth right there. But at the same time, that amount is so high that I wish Turki would call his “bluff”.

There’s no way you would be close to breaking even if you put that much money on ONE fighter on a card. Not even if you sold 3 or 4 million PPV units at $80 a pop.

Turki feels sleighted by Canelo and Canelo feels like he would be yielding to the new guy at the table if he just threw himself at him at the first offer.

          It’s a massive stalemate.

Having said that, a lot of people are going to eat crow if Canelo gets that bag at the very end of his career and beats Benny.

Most of the garbage you post is a combination of half truth, one side of the story and straight up lies.

Canelo is working his way DOWN the list, first Jaime, and next Berlanga. who is 11TH on the list? Because a "PAAAY DAAY" is coming!

Canelo is almost as bad as Loma saying for years he wants a Tank fight and then bailing on the negotiations to avoid him and take a tune up fight early next year.
