  • Top Rank Introduces Christian Mbilli

Cites Mike Tyson as his main stylistic influence. That explains the bob & weave

Mbilli reminds me most of Henry Armstrong but bigger

here Mbilli is with Beterbiev improving his inside fighting skill

Smash Coach Ramsay is good at training infighters:

    SMARTEST

Artur Beterbiev: “Artur’s understanding of his opponents when we watch video is just from another level. He’s a guy who never watches boxing, but when he studies an opponent or when he watches his own sparring his analysis is excellent. Christian Mbilli has the capacity to take new info on the fly and apply the night of the fight, you can give him many different directions in a fight and he will switch just like that. I would pick Artur, he’s a pressure fighter but he’s so much more than that, his ring IQ is superior and that is why the educated pressure has helped him beat the likes of Oleksandr Gvozdyk.

The man is heavily muscled he has got to be in the 190’s when he enters the ring

Being a life long wrestler I never cut weight to compete so I can’t fathom how these boxers do it

168 is a competitive division but some of the marquee names are leaving it because Canelo is holding the belts hostage

Christian is never in a dull fight and this fight coming up should be another good one

purest swarmer alive today and built like a Tank

        wild African muscle

extremely savvy wrestling tactics inside like his stablemate Beterbiev

I think Mbilli would *outMexican Munguia Alvarez and Benavidez in fights

*He’d have them backing up and jabbing

I would have to agree, but will the bigger names take that challenge?

I wouldn’t count on it, Christian also is a medalist in the games so he has an outstanding pedigree

Now that Jamie is a TopRank fighter let’s see if Bob makes the fight

              probably next year

I think Mbilli can stop Munguia in a show of fireworks

Mbilli is endless pressure while Alvarez pressures in bursts and spurts

              A war while it lasts

I hope Alvarez gives Mbilli a shot after

there is also young up and coming Diego Pacheco at 168

This Mexican is tall and boxes at range

Mbilli can be a star by winning wars against Mexicans

Yeah it would definitely up his profile beating those names

And yeah maybe Christian isn’t in the 190’s when he enters the ring, I didn’t know he was only 5’8 with a reach equal to his height so he will look heavier due to his proportions

He is heavily muscled but not that tall

My reach is 17cm longer than my height so no matter how much muscle I put on I still look slim
