Yes, going forward Vergil will be fighting guys his own size with a much higher level of skill than in the past. Most fights will be tough with no guarantee of winning, never mind first or second round KOs.

I think it's funny people want to make a lot about Ortiz being in a tuff fight. What happened last night was exactly what the doctor ordered for Ortiz, this will benefit him going forward and make him a better fighter. This guy has fought 2 rounds in almost 3 years, he was due a tough fight, this happens in boxing all the time, even with great fighters.

I had Crawford beating him 115-113.

But I had Ortiz losing to Bohachuk 115-112.

I Crawford vs Ortiz happens next, Crawford wins by knockout.
He couldn't even stop an Amateur, he was scared to let his hands go.

Ill tell you a secret, Madrimov, Fundora, Vergil, and Sergii already Sparred each other here in So Cal. They know each other very well.

No way is Madrimov tougher than Bohachuck, better footwork yes.

I like him, but I don't believe he was ever matched tough before this. Part of the reason he only went 2 rounds in 3 years was the weak competition he was fighting.....plus the health issues he faced. Now that he seems healthy and is beyond facing Delorme-level guys, I'm interested in seeing what he's got.

He’s also a much better feinter who doesn’t throw any punches

And he catches punches with his left eye even though he feinted for a compubox record. P4P number 1 feinter.

Compubox is undeniable to an argument if it agrees with your side, or it is bs when it doesn’t fit a narrative

What impressed me the most with so little rounds in the last couple years, his stamina was great through 12 rounds. Thats not typical for fighters who had been so inactive. He is must-see TV.
