Bohachuk on the other hand did not appear to be bothered too much by Ortiz' accumulation, and while he landed a LOT of good rights to the head, and I do mean a lot, he pretty much treated the body like it was a toxic waste zone and he simply wasn't as flashy as Ortiz, who showed more aggression even with the knockdowns and simply landed more of those rib tenderizing body shots. But with Bohachuk's right hands and the knockdowns, a draw would have been fitting. But no one was really dominated in my opinion. It was close. And Bohachuk put some shine on his name like I thought he would. Great fight. I loved it. I am fine with the outcome. I would like a rematch, but fine with moving on.
In your honest opinion, who did you think won the rounds where Ortiz got knocked down ???

how come none of you people know about the 10-point must system? the only way the winner of a round doesn't get 10 points is if a point is lost for illegal tactics. this is the 2nd thread i've seen in the last 12 hours talking about 9-9 and 9-8 rounds with no point deduction for an illegal tactic...WTF?

Well obviously there is controversy over the scoring system
How do you score it when a guy gets knocked down and still dominates the round

Fugh all to do with dorks
Wasn’t enough domination. The Ukrainian would have been beaten pillar post and nearly stopped, for it to be a 9-8 round

Not sure why people are making it seem like Ortiz completely dominated those rounds where he got knocked down. Having the announcers yell "he's hurt" in regards to Boha, doesn't actually mean he's hurt, even if a good shot landed. Said it however long ago, but Ortiz has to learn how to vary the speed and tempo of his shots. He almost always throws with everything in each shot. Not only does that hurt his stamina, it's easier to defend against.

usually in that type of situation i go 10-9 for the fighter that scored the knockdown. if the knockdown is weak or just a glove touching the canvas and really the only offensive success for that fighter and he gets schooled the rest of the round i would probably go 10-10. 10-9 for the fighter that got knocked down if he delivers a beating and has his man hurt the rest of the round wouldn't be out of the question either

I thought the first knockdown he was totally dominating the round
