Uhhhh I'm well aware of how tough life is in Cuba, I'm certain that it's no shangri-la, you draw an interesting conclusion from my statements, I'm just saying that Savon and Teofilo are financially spoken-for by Castro, so they don't need to defect and turn pro in the US to make a living -

yeah but savon and gomez can do the most damage, but maybe it would be a bit unfair to put george in with those big guys, casamayor would be more his weight classOriginally posted by SacTown1Savon & Gomez can't put butts in the seats, Bush vs. Casamayor would be a hot ticket thoughComment

meaning less victoriesOriginally posted by paul750How well do people think Felix Savon would have done if he had of turned pro? Don King offered him 10 million one time, but he didn't accept. he beat guys like david tua, ray mercer, kirk johnson and andrew golota, and he has something like 360 wins. the only question would be how well he could have taken a punch if he had of turned pro, but he was a masterful boxer
none of those guys proved to be a force themselves
never seen much of mercer
but he dont seem like nothin special
tua was completely untested
golotas golota
and johnson is johnson
i dont think he woulda done much had ghe turned pro
as weve seen amatures is way diff from the prosComment
