Great fight. Nash had it very clear and wide 114-112 Ortiz. Two flash knockdowns should not be scored. Has to be a real knockdown to count is a rule change Nash would enforce, If you are up before 4 it does not count. Eve worse was Usyk being awarded a fight deciding knockdown when Fury was still standing up and just resting against the ropes for a breather as is commonly done. Usyk is the luckiest man in boxing. Loses to Fury gets win. Gets knocked out by Dubois, gets a thirty minute rest and wins. Nash out - His Excellency

No way of knowing how much Turki's stayed preference for an Ortiz win had on the judges.

Absolutely. I think Turki is doing some good things but I also think we're gonna see some rotten decisions linked with fights he wants to make. But that's not new in boxing.

He basically plans some fights before the fighter has dealt with their upcoming opponent.

Take Madrimov v Bud last week, Turki was already planning Bud's next fight so there was NO chance he was losing on the cards. The fact Crawford got a decision isn't the issue, it's a fight that could go either way, it's the fact we all know before hand which fighter will be getting the decision if it's close.

        Same with this Ortiz fight.

the opponent is either gonna have to win by KO or win a clear 10 or 11 rounds.

Its a shame we have to watch a sport knowing beforehand which competitor is guaranteed a win if its competitive

Its not some conspiracy. The truth is the overwhelming majority of either bad decisions or close decisions go in favour of the home fighter, or the future star, or the cash cow. That proves it. It wouldn't be that disproportionate if it was just incompetence, so it has to be corruption.

First Crawford won by losing and now Ortiz Jr just did the same. Both undefeated losers need to fight each other next or this dark boxing politic cloud isn’t going away

I had Bohachuck winning by a point or two. Not a massive robbery,
but IMO a robbery none the less. 2 tough hombres though, definitely.
Bud would beat either of them though.

                Crawford beats Ortiz, btw.
A fight between Crawford, and Ortiz would be competitive for a couple of rounds.
Then Crawford would bust up Ortiz even worse than Bohachuk just did, ultimately stopping him in the process.

Turki's presence, and vocal support for a Crawford vs Ortiz fight had to have some influence on the judges, just how much we will never know.

I have to make a correction here, I read in ************, that Turki said that Ortiz vs Bohachuk was a draw, and that they have to fight a rematch before a Crawford fight is made.
That's got to the most honest statements I've ever heard coming from one of boxing's power broker's.
I also liked the fact that he put Canelo on blast for talking out of both sides of his mouth, many in boxing are getting tired of that arrogant jerks bull****!

I must say I was laughing when I read that post. He just makes up new rules to justify his opinion. And then wants to go and change outcomes of two other fights that he did not like how they transpired. The "Great Nash" has reached new levels of delusion.

At the end of the fight I did not know who won, but felt that a draw would be a fair decision. Two warriors going hammer and tongs for 12 rounds. Incredible. I think you have to feel bad for Bohachuk who lost in spite of two knock downs.
I agree 100% with your assessment of the fight!!!
