    I didn’t think it was a gift.

Ortiz won most of the rds even with the knockdowns.

I thought it was a close fight I wasn’t necessarily scoring, but Ortiz swept the last 3 rds super clean.

He didn't "Beat". Never saw Manny "beaten up" by a feather fist, more like outlanded or outpointed in boring "match", not fight.

His best bet will be to fight the winner of Spence v Fundora which will be the better match up for him but if Turki want to make Ortiz v Bud and pay both guys handsomely, then who am I to complain. I just hope he don’t get these guys killed cos u need a soft touch after a brutal fight like that.
Ortiz is solid and he showed that he has the ability to box a little bit too, but Crawford can do so many more things than Ortiz.

I agree with you. Crawford all the way.

Turki Alalshikh comes across as a wealthy casual that wants to put fights together because he can, not because he can profit. I have no desire to see Ortiz VS Crawford. The intrigue and the money is in Crawford VS Canelo. If Crawford still wants that fight, that's the fight Turki Alalshikh should make.

          Crawford beats Ortiz, btw.

Only casuals think Crawford vs Canelo is a real fight.

Crawford should be fighting 160 pound belt holder then 168 pound Benividas, Mungia or Plant BEFORE fighting Canelo. He needs to PROVE he belongs in there with Canelo. He'll never make it.

Not sure why Crawford would fight Ortiz, he's already mandatory for Fundora and if Spence wins then that fight will obviously happen.

Better to go unify against Murtazaliev first maybe in December then it's on to undisputed in April

Whether the Canelo fight ever happens now who knows.

agree 100. Turki seems like a man in a hurry to make the best match-ups and plan 6-12 months ahead but the fighters need time to recover physically AND MENTALLY so that they are fresh and put in their best effort in the next fight. Stay active to stay sharp doesn't mean be in a war every 4-6 months - much as we as fans would wish that might happen. Turki seems to have a streak of Roman Emperor in him - watching gladiators for his personal pleasure. Still, better that than Bob-marinade-Arum

Befor the fight, Turki wants Crawford vs Ortiz next and will offer Crawford a truck full of money to make that fight (he pretty much said so just before the fight).

BUT, let's see what happens. Ortiz looked vulnerable tonight and his face was busted up. Had to go to the hospital after the fight. He is one of Oscar's main fighters and money makers. Will Oscar be willing to throw him in with Crawford for one large payday or will he want to get a few more paydays before that? What about Crawford? With Ortiz he only gets money, but no real additional belt. He wants to be undisputed at 154 and achieve what nobody else has achieved - 3 division undisputed champion. To achieve that goal he should fight people with belts. Right. What will Crawford choose - money or additional belts? He does not have another 5 years in him, maybe 2, so what is his choice in the shortest straight line - lots of money or legacy?

After the fight Turki wants a rematch as he saw the fight as a draw. In my book, that means Crawford fights Fundora for a couple of belts and then most likely Tim Tzsyu for the last belt (assuming Tim wins).

They’re gonna have to twist Oscar’s are big time ($$). Pretty clear he hates those matchups and will go 0-2 and the loyalists will be out in force with their track shoes/boring comments if these fights surprisingly are next
