Benavidez was dealing with two injured hands and a cut coming into the bout, Lewkowicz said.

I call bullchit on this one much like all the bullchit of his “ interim “ title
This is just trying to preserve a cash cow of sorts and I think all genuine boxing fans know and understand he has no fughin chance whatsoever against a light heavyweight as Artur or Bivol not to mention others

Dunno about that one bro. Dmj seemed to struggle at times with 'hot rod' lol , not that Benny was great himself in his debut but I think he takes Morrell 0 if they fight. Interesting match up it needs to happen now they both 75 pounders.

            Hear you loud and clear
I’d drop my coin on Morrell
Benny looked awful imo and had no B plan against an old fighter

I'd wager that Benavidez adapts to light-heavy in a similar way to how Usyk adapted to heavy.

Usyk looked like double-whipped s h i t against Witherspoon, slightly better against Chisora (DAERAAAEKK!!) as he battled through against weight & sheer tenacity, then sparkled against Joshua to set him on the path to undisputed, no less.

Benavidez is a skilful & destructive monster of a champion who was yuuuuge at super-middle, he's not getting ragdolled at 75 and will probably catch someone clean very soon so we won't have to wait long to find out whether the most oversized super-middle in history has carried his power up with him.

Morrell wasn't gasping for air against Hot Rod, I'll say that. And Hot Rod made him WORK.

Gvozdyk NOW = Hot Rod NOW in terms of skillset, IMO. Gvozdyk pre-Beterbiev would have ended Benavidez.

I got Morrell vs Benavidez at 175, IF we are just going off their initial debuts..

The debut wouldn't have anything to do with their next fight.
