Come on Z, when you don't have anything to sell, you don't sell reality, you sell something else! If GBP have any intelligence (which I admit is something of an if) then they do what promoters have always done, and build an ethnic hope very carefully.

Regarding the fight at hand, IMO Sims should be trying straight feints accompanied by long looping rights to the head if he wants to push for the KO, but what the hell do we know...

Sims is in a spot where he just needs to stay busy and stay sharp until the WBA calls his name. Needs to continue with gatekeeper types like Alex Martin or Kent Cruz, maybe even try to avenge that defeat years ago against Sam Teah. Can't take too many risks in that #1 spot, but still need some rounds and to sweat a bit

I’m not impressed by Kenneth Simms Jr at all. He couldn’t drop or really hurt a former 122lb fighter who’s clearly out of shape and had a 24 hr notice.

They've been trying: Munguia, Ryan Garcia, Ortiz, and Zepeda are their 4 projects. Garcia is their biggest star, but is a massive headache. They've been taking their sweet time with Munguia and Zepeda. Vergil has to step up.

15 month layoff. However, it's a bad sign that Romero never seemed to be hurt by any head shot.

GBP is on their way out of the business. That William Morris guy they hired firing Robert Diaz was all you needed to know.
