Floyd has set himself up for a fall...

...as soon as he mentioned his desire to go down in history as one of the best, and the names he would like to face to do that

Floyd must know himself that coming out of retirement to face a Lightweight and now RUMOUR that he may face a boxing prospect, would only make himself look bad... so before people make a thousand threads on how he's ducking Cotto, Mosley, Pac etc just remember that he stated HIMSELF that these were the names he wanted... and that HE wanted to go down as a great

At the end of the day, if he only comes back to fight Marquez and this Alvarez after stating he wanted the big names, then he deserves all the criticism there is... but theres plenty of time to go after the best around, criticize him when he retires again with no Pac, Mosley or Cotto

    Look man ,

Defend the guy all you want , Floyd has the pick of the Cotto Pacquiao winner or Mosley , they are his best two options , other than them he has a whole host of fights @ 147 , you know world title fights not chumps !!!!!!

This mother ****er is a disgrace to boxing , why he gets so many PPV buys in America god only knows .

He choses money every time , Marquez was a financial move he knew he could fight Marquez and he would agree to walk away with pennies and Floyd would not or could not lose the fight , well here we have deja vu only a lesser opponent while a whole host of top fighters are chomping at the bit to fight Floyd !!!!!!!!!

I believe without a doubt that floyd isn't gonna fight Mosley or Cotto, that's a crying shame!!When he doesn't it will be interesting to see who still defends his a$$!!

If Floyd retires with none of the top names, I'll be the first in line to criticise...
I've said many times he's only back for the money & fame, I'm not a fan of his... how can you be a fan of somebody that treats his own support so poorly?

I'm just saying, Floyd has yet to completely rule out fights with Cotto, Mosley or Pac... My honest opinion is that he will let them fight eachother, then take on the one top of the bunch.

The simple equation is this :

The winner of Cotto - Pacquiao gets the winner of Mayweather - Mosley .

Agree'd , but no Floyd wont have any of that , so what you are saying is that you think Shane will fight the winner of Pac Cotto and Void will fight the winner of that ?????

Cotto, Mosley and Manny haven't sat around waiting for Floyds return, they've just got on with things... I don't know how it will plan out, but I see Floyd facing the one with the most reward
Floyd doesn't take risks... he's not stepping in the ring with all of them, it's not how he works... just like the timely retirement when Cotto, Margarito and Mosley were doing things at 147, he sat back and watched it unfold.

Is this after the Clottey fight in late Dec or does Floyd have to wait in limbo untill after that so then the winner of the other fight looks elsewhere while Floyd is waiting for Mosley to take care of business , your grand plan is full of **** ,,, Floyd should wait till Nov and fight the winner of Cotto Pac , in Feb-March thats what he should do next , and then fight Mosley if nothing bigger is available .

Oh really , Mosley hasnt fought since January !!!!!! , he's waiting for Void but Void has other plans , me personally id ike to see Pacquiao Mayweather should he beat Cotto , just like the rest of the boxing world .

On the other hand id like to see Arum walk away from Mayweather and let him go and keep protecting that 0 and watch Pacquiao retire the GOAT !!!!!
