Cuba always does great in Olympics, im expecting Marco Verde to get gold medal for Mexico after 50+ years since the last one.

Really Hope so, he be the first to win the Gold in the Olympic's boxing.

Hope he does man, and yes, only matter of time til he jumps in the pro ranks. Some of the biggest promotions probably have an eye on him already.

Had no idea Bakhodir Jalolov was in the Olympics, I was just wondering where the heck he's been.

A freaking shame that pro boxers are allowed in the Olympics. Honestly his competition was sub par and he was far from impressive.

The corruption in amateur boxing is just so awful, besides the bad decisions, Jalolov participating in the Olympics years after turning professional is one of the reasons why I want boxing scrapped from the Olympics, until they get their act together or have another organization manage amateur boxing in the Olympics.

As much as I love boxing , I don't care for the amateur game much , especially since it's a bunch of grown men and professionals competing. Never mind the biased judging . Allowing professional athletes in the Olympics goes against what the Olympics is supposed to be about, at least in my mind. I haven't watched any of the Olympics and I probably won't until we get some American Boxers in there with a good chance of winning.
