    At recent editions of the Olympic Games, medallists from Team GB have stepped down from the podium to find professional promoters waiting with open cheque books. Things will be different this year and that will be as much down to the current state of British boxing as it is a disappointing return from the British contingent in France.

    The Olympics are hometown heaven. Mexicans never won so much gold until the Olympics were held in Mexico, America won it all in L.A. London was too obvious. AJ was beat twice on his way to the gold. There is a reason why Olympics matter less in the other guys hen house, less of yours will win.

        Mexico has been turning out great pros without the country having much Olympic success. For decades now.
