Well this is from Schaefer not from Floyd and Richard says a lot of things. It is a good way of getting Alvarez's name out there though~

Wouldn't fighting the best of the best fill up HBO's coffers, as you put it, more than any other fight? Surely if May fights Pac, Cotto, Mosley, Williams, those fights would generate more revenue than him fighting a no name Mexican prospect right?
Alvarez is MUCH BIGGER! (Everybody knows his name) than Juan Manuel Marquez in Mexico, and when they promote him in the States he will be more famous than Marquez there too.

And his PPV with Floyd will bring more numbers.

People will say, the next Chavez?, a mexican red-head KO ARTIST, 29-0 (22-KO'S) with only 19 years old?.

The PPV will bring more numbers than the Juanma one, that's for sure.

You came to the wrong forum then... Most of the time it just seems like you are ducking legitimate arguments and points that go against your own arguments by putting people on ignore.

        Not criticizing, just simply observing.

Katsidis who doesn't know what a jab is?

Kat should be rematching Amonsot, a no-name, sacrificial lamb whom he was supposed to KO.

If that's what their camp decides, good luck to Floyd and more power. It's just that we as fans expected something more, like a riskier opponent.

Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that Floyd is 100% willing to fight Pac?
You left out part of the equation....Floyd is 100% willing to fight Pac for "X" amount of $$$$

            • Gayweather is fooling the public. Not fighting Cotto, Mosley and even Margarito before completely ruined his career.

              Gayweather the chicken *****

That's funny because throughout the promoting of Mayweather-Marquez, it was said by Floyd and several others that Marquez is the biggest fighter in Mexico.

Do Mexicans drop their fighters after they lose or something?

I like to see how the whole story plays out before I judge, I am fine if his comeback is great or if it is meaningless but either way or anything inbetween does not effect me, I want to see what happeans before throwing judgements around though.

Some of the guys who disagree with me most vehemently are not on my ignore list: Flores, you, mang, getsumbrah., etc. Despite Flores calling me "a ****" (as if that's an insult).

Even though the near-naked sig of GetSum needs to go when I have folks in the office.

If your reply is "you gayfeather nuthugger lolz omg pwned floyd duckrunner you f.ag", then I'm probably not going to enagge that cat. Sorry.

We have a winner. This fight won't happen, there's bigger money opportunities and definatley 0 credit for the win.

Schaefer is just saying it to get Alvarez noticed as speculating him fighting Mayweather is good publicity and makes him seem good. He will likely get a bigger fight now because of it.
