Mayweather vs Alvarez in Mexico? Schaefer Says Maybe

We know the main players to land Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2010. The list includes Manny Pacquiao, Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley. During a recent interview with Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer, he advised BoxingScene.com's Bill Emes that undefeated welterweight prospect Saul Alvarez (29-0, 22KOs) of Mexico is a dark horse to land a potential fight with Mayweather in 2010. Are you kidding me? Mayweather comes back to fight smaller men and prospects? I hope this isn't true.

Alvarez hasn't even gotten his feet wet yet, if he can get past Berto...or even Quintana or Clottey, THEN bring on Fraud. But if he ends up crushin any of those guys, lol Floyd's ***** ass would probably find another excuse not to fight a big kid. But yeah, 2010 needs to be a big year for Alvarez. He should start it off with Collazo or someone, than get a bout with Quintana/Clottey/Berto. Than see where he stands for Fraud.

Sounds like something I might've said, but if he fights Alvarez I won't give him the benefit of the doubt any longer.
