Alvarez needs sum fights on u.s tv...I only get 2 see his fights on youtube.
Get him a couple of fights on showtime or hbo...Then fight floyd in sept on mexican holiday...It would sell..But the kid needs sum u.s coverage...wonder why hbo or showtime hasint picked em up.

they proably are gone put him on hbo. his next fight is in the US and its gona be co promoted by golden boy so maybe they might put him on HBO since golden boy has alot of dates on there.

i just watched the interview and it wasn't even something schaefer brought up. the interviewer brought it up. The interviewer said we know all about Mosley and Cotto/pacquiao winner, but what about any dark horses out there. And Schaefer mentioned the guy and said Floyd could do anything he wanted, he could go and fight all across the world. He said nothing about this fight actually happening or any fight actually happening....all he was do was speculating on the limitless possibilities that Floyd has at his disposal...that's all, thats it!


This hating about nothing has got to stop. It is so much more fun to argue about something that is actually realistic. whatever happened to arguing about who has the style to beat Floyd? yall haters is getting lame!!!

They will sell more than with Juan Manuel Marquez, Alvarez is much more known by a lot than Marquez with Mexicans, everybody and their grandmother knows who is Alvarez, and many people know who is Mayweather in Mexico because the 24/7 and the fight with Marquez were on National TV.

Reason the kid is charismatic, he fights on National TV LIKE EVERY MONTH, and he is a KO Artist, Marquez 2 best wins were on HBO Plus on Mexico, only a few have that channell here.

And they could hype him up as the Next Chavez, and it will do FANTASTIC NUMBERS!, they could also sell 100K Tickets on The Azteca Stadium in Mexico,

there is no sense Floyd bashing just because Richard Schaefer sees dollar signs in potential "what if" fights... has this fight been announced? No... Schaefer just started riffing on an idea... was Oscar vs Chavez Jr. ever secured? No- it was discussed. Floyd hasn't said word one about such a match up, and I'm sure it doesn't bring in the box office he would want. People will wait to ***** about anything.
