These Charlo folks are all for the retirement money. They have to be guaranteed huge money before going back to the ring. Problem is fighting cans would not cut the mustard. It still works for Al if he puts them on undercards to fill up his cards thus dangle extra carrots to fans. It's also cheaper for Haymon as they can't ask for huge money fighting cans. Except it doesn't work for the twins as smaller purses would only cover training expenses and everyday subsistence while training. There would still be little left though, but not much for all the troubles. Bottom line is they have to be in big fights at this time of their careers, especially for them who love long vacations.

Why watermelons in Turkey?

I grew up in a country like Turkey where people drive up and down the street with a truck full of watermelons selling them very cheaply. Kids are chasing these trucks and buying watermelons (and sometimes stealing them). If kids can buy them, I guess it is not a very glamorous or a high paying job.
