im on the fence with mma...i respect it, watch it occasionally, but i certainly wouldnt consider myself a fan...

the type of people that really like mma in my experience tend to be the types that dont like boxing anyways...they always seem to be nerdy ass dude's who wear weird looking t-shirts and ****...ive never noticed that with boxing...

I had no idea Hopkins felt the same way i do about mma. Why watch 2 guys rolling around on the ground makeing love to each other? But its what the young generation is into. Theres just no one under 25 in America that prefers boxing to mma. Boxing is just better.

im 27 and love boxing because my pops brought me up on it...aside from my mexican buddies, i only have a friend or two that knows his **** about boxing...

to defend mma fans and their sexuality, a lot of them dont even like mixed martial arts they just like watching people getting knocked out, stand up fighting. A lot of the time when they get on the ground the fans start booing which is funny cuz its part of the sport. People just like the idea of the sport which in their mind is a fight without gloves. These r the same fans that loved tyson when he boxed. Boxing is in trouble because of the way its handled, its politics, not cuz of mma. Bhop had me rolling on this one. BHop is straight hood, he doesnt play that ****.

Ease up on MMA. Of course Boxing is better, but MMA is pretty cool too. I'm a fight fan, so I think both are awesome.

I consider boxing more entertaining than MMA, especially when MMA fighters grapple on the ground. Sure, it's part of the sport, but unless you're a budding jujitsu student, it's the least entertaining part.

Boxing is also the more dangerous sport. MMA is relatively safe. 12 Rounds of professionally placed blows to the head > getting tapped out in a few minutes.
