He couldn't beat Tszyu, Bohachuk, Ramos, or Gomez but he iced Fundora. At this point Fundora's entire career is based off winning a fight against Tszyu that hinged primarily on an accidental elbow opening up a gruesome cut.

Right now I'd pick him over Ennis, Ortiz, Tszyu but I think we'll see him visibly slipping before long. Crawford will be 37 next month. No fighter is in their prime at that age, even with improved nutrition etc.

After last night , I wouldn't pick Crawford over either of those three. To each their own though.

He beat an excellent fighter in his first fight in his fourth weight class. I don't think Crawford showed any age, he was just in there against an awkward, quality opponent.

I would easily take Crawford to KO Fundora or Murtazaliev.

I agree. Madrimov was tricky and did not press the action so that Crawford could counter and do what he normally does. Bud had to press the action in the last few rounds to secure the win because Madrimov was not willing to engage too much and was just jumping around threatening to do something but never really doing it beyond single straight right hands.
