New unified junior-middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora is doing anything but avoiding new four-division champion Terence Crawford following Crawford's Saturday night World Boxing Association victory over Israil Madrimov. I don think it's the age or layoff, more that Madrimov is pretty good, and Crawford is not as great as touted after the Spence win.

He's still a fantastic, cerebral boxer, don't get me wrong. But for those who suggested that Bud could beat a prime Mayweather, well, no.

The likes of Leonard, Hearns and Whitaker were higher level.

Right now I'd pick him over Ennis, Ortiz, Tszyu but I think we'll see him visibly slipping before long. Crawford will be 37 next month. No fighter is in their prime at that age, even with improved nutrition etc.
