competitive fights?

the problem is people want floyd to get into wars....and what kind of standard in it self is that to judge somebody on...?

I mean Floyd is always in a no win situation.

Floyd is tryng to give us competitive fights..but his opponents dont have the will, skill, and courage to make it competitive...

Who fault is it that Maquez chose not to do what he said he was going to do. WHICH WAS FIGHT BALLS OUT AND THROW 5 AND 6 PUNCH COMBINATIONS.

Marquez could have made his fight with floyd competitive by being a warrior and selling out like casitillo and chavez did..

But he didnt... and tryed to box and got outclassed.

So the excitement you should get is not Wanting Floyd to change his game up...

I am a boxing fan but would like to see Floyd take real challenges and be as great as he can be. In the Pernell Whitaker era Sweet Pea wanted to fight all the top fighters around his weight class and he almost fought them all. Even went up in weight and fought Julio Ceasar Vazquez. So taking the path with the least resistance to secure the highest pay day won't do it for me.

The majority of the fans are asking for the winner of Pac/Cotto or Mosley. I do like to watch Floyd box and I'm his fan, but I'm not paying to see him if he doesn't fight in a meaningful bout

Shane Mosley is not MEGA FIGHT Fighter. thats why he fights on World Championship Boxing instead of HBO PPV.

If Hagler-Leonard were fighting today, both of them would be PPV fighters.

he is 38 years old, He fights flat footed, Steroid user, and past his prime.

this would have been a MEGA FIGHT when Mosley was in his Prime and still Marketable.

Now Mosley is past his prime and begging for big paydays.
MOSLEY- MAYORGA (3,800) TICKETS SOLD as mosley being the headliner.

Golden Boy knows Mosley Marketability, and knows that he is really not that good of investment at this stage of his career.

He won it against Judah who was the lineal champ till Baldomir beat him, but Baldo couldn't pay the sactioning fees and couldn't obtain the other belts. Then Floyd beat Baldo and cemented it. But by no means he fought the best WW of the division of that time

floyd's a great talent and a natural, but he isn't fightin the best WWs... that's all we want... for him to fight the best WWs.. I don't think that's asking too much.

Mate believe it or not we want that too , thats not the problem , the constant daily hate and negative spin coming every single day is what we complain about , Floyd is held to a different standard and cops more flack for doing what others get praised for , I think its time for Floyd to fight the best available and my gut feeling says he is waiting for Pac Cotto outcome , if he fights a keep bust fight thats fine , so long as it publicly announced Cotto Pac or Mosley are a done deal , I can live with that ,, but this constant Floyd bashing at every turn is over the top and lowers the standard of the forum .
