The usual suspects are on here defending the trans again. No surprises there. They criticize anyone who uses Twitter as a source unless it fits their agenda.

well if thats the case even better to clear it up on appeal, is CAS irrelevant too?

or maybe the iba were correct to question what was going on and were booted out by the olympic committee for doing that

Or once they moved everything to Russia, they became as corrupt as the Russian government and that is why the IOC stopped working with them.

The thing is - why not name the boxers directly that they claim are men and state exactly how they came to that conclusion?

That would make this cut and dry. Instead they allude to boxers being disqualified but leave out the fact that at least with the Algerian woman, the test came up XXY.

Edit- did you see the statement the IBA released ?

The IBA said in a statement the fighters "did not undergo a testosterone examination but were subject to a separate and recognised test".

However, the "specifics" of this test "remain confidential".

Why do the specifics need to be confidential? Just tell us the full test done.

all im going to say is clarity is needed and if they want to implement rules that ensure a level playing field like they do in mens boxing via vada and other testing to test athletes levels of important things then great and if they dont want to do that for fear of offending people and the athletes in question then great as well, i dont care but what they have created here and in the last world champs is a farce end of, competitors are not happy & there is clearly an issue that needs addressing, the IOC are i think idiots with this passport rule which is pure dumb

if these athletes have nothing to hide then why not go to CAS or volunteer testing to prove things etc, its not hard to do if u want to, or else u just get the unknown bogeyman or woman that exists now where all things are suspected but not proven because su****ion drives itself

This argument that one side always just end up with is, ah sure just let em at it, its just the way they are, some have long arms some have long legs some have high testosterone or went through puberty or have different chromosomes or hormones, well having long legs is not banned in any sport but high testos levels are not allow and would be flagged in mens boxing but not allowed to be in womens boxing, ok fair enough if thats what u want then fire away etc

I think you make a great point about going to get tests. The IOC should mandate this. If they come back that they were and always were women, let them fight.

If they were men at any point, disqualify them and allow the losers to go forward. I would also look to penalize the countries as well.

You’re basically saying I am going to stick with my opinion no matter what facts contradict that.

How about if your daughter is labeled a man when she isn’t?
So you are just going to take at their word whatever they say and not believe your eyes? Did you not see this man adjusting his junk post fight? Again, I am not going to be convinced otherwise. This is a man. You can post photos all day of someone dressing him up as a girl when he was little.

exactly create clarity, one way or another, what if any differences are present & will it impact on their performance in the ring & is it fair to their competitors, so competitors can feel safe and protected in a dangerous sport

one passport rule that doesnt make sense is the opposite of this clarity needed, so therefore the IOC are partially to blame for this themselves as they have no proper procedures in place to deal with an issue that has occured and was easy to see would rear its head again as no clarity is there, very poor performance, sacking of the policy makers i would say is needed

Then how is this not a case of a prettier woman crying about the a more masculine looking woman beating her. That bish just looks like a man. but she's born a female.
