Yeah, it's some real dumb stuff, but I read an article that they have some of the most views of any combat sport on YT. That's nuts when you think about it. That's why Dana White jumped at polishing up this turd so he could start profiting off of it.

For me, it's basically for folks that need instant gratification. Like, let's cut out the skill involved whether in boxing or MMA to earn and score the KO and let's just watch two dudes wail on each other without defense until someone goes down permanently. It's really dumb and if folks want to call boxing or MMA brutal, what on earth do you call an event where two dudes are literally giving away their head as a target so that his opponent can freely hit it.

Allowing a biological man to compete against biological women in sports is unfair to the biological women. It's a rare woman who could overcome the physical superiority of a man , especially in a combat sport. That's not a dig at women , it's biology and mechanics. I'm all for equal rights for all human beings but this is not cool at all. Especially in boxing , that looks like more of a crime than a fight.

I saw an article in the NYT this morning about Boxing in Thailand and one of the ladies looked like a guy but was a real natural woman , she just had short hair, and big arms and shoulders.
This is my stance. I don't have a problem with folks wanting to be whoever tf they want. It's them who decide/choose, so you would be better off not caring and staying out of other folks business. You'll live a happier life by doing so.

That being said, I'm completely against letting a biological dude ever compete with a woman in just about any physical event. Boxing side, any other sport involving muscle movements, the "dude" should win. Now let's just throw in a man against a woman in the ring and see what happens. Who the hell approved this? Heck, if I were the women, I would protest against it for their own health.

Don't fall for the disinformation and propaganda that they are some kind of victims of whatever "woke" means on Fox Propaganda Network today.
"Woke" turned into a word of either accepting folks or showing you're against accepting folks. Fox made it sound like a negative when the truth is you're now accepting of other people that don't look like you or follow what you believe in let's say. Though the truth is, by being woke, you're less um, racist, more accepting of all walks of life? Not sure there is anything wrong with that.

By Fox making the word sound negative, folks think they're either "cool" by being anti-woke or that being woke is something negative. Their typical propaganda BS and another reason to channel anger and hate in the country.

THOUGH, I do have a problem with material that has existed forever or was even written for a certain culture/race/ethnicity/whatever being changed just to force differences on folks. Like, the vision of the content was already described and made as is and then folks come along and change it to make it diverse. For me, that does feel more like a forced acceptance when there was no need to do it that way. Keep the original content intact the way it was created/written. You can go and make new material for other folks and there is nothing wrong with that.

I just don't see how this country and its population would want to be represented by a transgender athlete in front of the whole world. If they do, then the whole planet has been infected by the woke virus.

It's hard to go against science but something doesn't make sense here. Screw the tests, let's do it the old school way: pants down in front of a doctor to get the bottom of this.
I have not looked into any of this , I really don't care that much , so I don't know what is true or not about these videos and photos , but I do know that there are people, I imagine a tiny percentage that are born with both male and female genitals. That's about all I know about it though.

If the IOC are allowing transgender fighters to compete then that's wrong in my opinion. But we don't actually know if that's the case.
So , basically the Right Wing Perpetual Outrage Machine took an old story and misinformed people into thinking that it's current to keep them outraged so they don't notice that corporate profits are up while their benefits packages shrink and they still have none of the social safety net that other countries citizens get for their taxes , while in the U.S. we pay taxes so that the super wealthy don't have to. Imagine that. I guess that ignorance is bliss .

Are these two , the Algerian and the Taiwanese saying that they are women , lived all their lives as girls , etc , or are they transgender, or two guys taking out some bizarre screwed up desire to beat up women to an extreme ? What do they do when they aren't at the Olympics ? Fight girls in Amateur Boxing ? Fight guys ? How did their countries justify them making the team and being brought to the Olympics ? Are these national teams so ethically and morally compromised that they are knowingly putting men on their Olympic Teams , just to up their medal counts ? This didn't just happen today , getting to the Olympics is a process . What's the background story ?
Either way , if they have male chromosomes , they 100% should not be fighting women.

Imane Khelif more info about her/him from their bio

"Started boxing after watching the sport at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Despite having to travel 10 kilometres by bus from her small village to the boxing gym, she fell in love with the sport on her first day of training. To pay for the bus fare, she sold scrap metal for recycling and her mother sold couscous"

                      UNICEF AMBASSADOR
Appointed as UNICEF ambassador to Algeria at the end of January 2024 on a two-year term, in part to help tackle Algeria's obesity epidemic. “I started with nothing and now I have everything. My dream is to win a gold medal. If I win, mothers and fathers can see how far their children can go. I particularly want to inspire girls and children who are disadvantaged in Algeria.”

So she wants to inspire 'girls' hhhhmmmm ok so

he now has everything, well done all from beating up girls
