Floyd's best wins aren't too great, best older versions of dlh, and ssm, and pac.
bud would be favourite h2h with any floyd win if he could best nelo
How would beating Canelo, who Floyd beat, be better than any Floyd win? Floyd also beat Manny, Cotto, Shane, ODH, Hatton and Corrales, all HOFers. Hatton and Corrales both being prime and undefeated.

Yes, floyd best a green Nel o with a catchweight. Bud would be beating a guy in his 7th division, with no catchweight. Am i missing something?
I really don't think you should be posting. This isn't for you

So a HOF’er isn’t a great fighter in your opinion?

Tbf, I think Crawford beating Canelo up at 168 is way better than any of Floyd’s wins.

It’s essentially like Mayweather fighting and beating Calzaghe in 2007 after he’d beat Oscar at 154.

I’d be amazed if Crawford actually beats Canelo at 168 though, I think it’s way too big of a jump. If he does pull it off, it’s one of the best wins ever I think.

He’d had 40 pro fights and was a world champion. If that’s a green fighter then Bam Rodriguez is still a novice.

The kind of people that watch the sport, not just slurp Manny like you do.

He beat an undefeated younger Canelo at a CW. If that negates the win, Manny’s win over Cotto gets negated as well.

Yes you are. You are forgetting that Canelo right now is a consensus #5 p4p boxer. Manny was #2 when Floyd easily beat him. Explain how that win would be better?

Ok. I think Canelo has fought nothing but easy fights since he lost. He clearly isn’t where he used to be.

In context, that fight would never have happened. Floyd had ample comp closer to his weight and as the cash cow never had anyone not willing to fight him.

In context, the Crawford fight may happen because Canelo is avoiding Benavidez to instead fight easy cash grabs and Crawford is looking for the biggest payday he can possibly get since so many around his weight are avoiding him- although Boots would fight him.

I wouldn’t. He’s a better boxer. I watched Floyd and Bivol shut him out and GGG win about 9 rounds the 1st fight by outboxing him.

Now the weight is significant. Fair point. It may prove to be too big a jump. But this Canelo does not seem to have the same respect as he once did because of the string of weak comp following the Bivol loss.

Please, I beg you not to post. You keep posting from heart, not head. That's disappointing as I know you're better than this.

I think more likely it sees Canelo's legacy take a big hit. How can you claim to be a great SMW when you ducked your biggest threat at 168 and lost to 2 welterweights?

For Bud to reach Manny or Floyd level, he would need good wins afterwards imo. But it's hard to say until seeing exactly how it plays out.
