Comments Thread For: Nick Ball relishing prospect of 'destructive' dates with fellow champions

Within the space of seven months, Nick Ball dominated the respected former junior featherweight titleholder Isaac Dogboe, appeared extremely unfortunate to have to settle for a draw after twice dropping the long-reigning WBC champion Rey Vargas, and then outfought the quality Raymond Ford to win the WBA title and finally become world champion.

Brandon = fireworks - Luis Alberto = destruction and intrigue - little and tall - not sure that would gel so well

I hope Inoue stays at 122 to fight the deserving M.A aka last real challenge at 122 - after that, he can move up. But by then he might be 33 yrs old - past prime - so if Inoue wants to make a strong impression at 126 he should move up after Doheny

No there is no point in moving up, as all the featherweights are no name fighters with no resume. Let the 126 champs unify and build up their resumes. Because otherwise, when inoue becomes 126 undisputed, everyone will discredit him by saying he beat up bums and would try to move up inoue to 130.

So the best thing for inoue is to stay at 122 and fight junto nakatani. Which is a huge fight and great name on inoue's resume. Then move up and become undisputed 126 champ, defend it once or twice and then retire at age of 35 or 36.

I kind of like him. I know he's a mauler, handicapped, with spaz vigor, but he puts it to good use. He reminds me of a landlord collecting his rent. Somebody will probably nail him, he gets hit from too far out.
