If Benavidez were fighting Berlanga next I would be 100% against it. I've been saying that its shouldve been Munguia vs Berlanga BEFORE Canelo even fought Jaime.

I don't understand how ytou're so blind....Canelo vs Benavidez is a legacy fight just due to the hype alone. Similar to De La Hoya vs Vargas. Beating Benavidez WITH NO CONTROVERSY would be Canelo's FIRST time beating an IN PRIME fighter viewed as TOP TIER.

Benavidez brings a style Canelo hasn't fought. A bigger pressure fighter with a great motor and hand speed. Benavidez isn't going to b i t c h up like Callum Smith did. Golovkin was supposed to be that pressure fighter but he did not have the hand speed to throw those combos that he was throwing against bums. The last true pressure fighter Canelo fought was Kirkland.....who was completely undersized.
