Boxing is in a bad spot to begin with. Women's boxing is a complete dumpster fire. Not sure who likes to watch womens boxing or UFC

Shields will pick up another joke belt along with the 5 vacant titles she has won. There is zero talent above 147 in women's boxing.

Nobody cares. Which is why she's trying MMA.

Could remove the words "more" and "their legacy than" from the intro sentence and it would still be accurate.

The fact that they can fight at 175 and have two belts on the line really illustrates the complete lack of depth in women's boxing, particularly in the divisions in which Shields competes. Hopefully she can inspire more women so the level of competition can go up, but the training wheels of two minute rounds when women have the same rules and round lengths for MMA, BJJ, Muay Thai, kickboxing, etc will likely only hinder interest.

When Shields, aka Pillow Fists, got KTFO in sparring by a 130 pound amateur, anything is possible especially since Pillow Fists hasn’t got a TKO or KO in 6 years against so so competition. Fighting for HW title in a division where nobody has ever heard of the fighters because it’s so unpopular with such limited opponents, is just a joke so that Pillow Fist can say she won another title at a division that is virtually nonexistent in womens boxing. Total BS!

Why are people taking it out on her she’s just an athlete making the best of her career and situation, if she was a male (2) time gold medalist would you be dogging her out or riding the males nuts. What talent do many of you have in fact have many of you ever stepped foot inside the squared circle, if not shut the fu_ kkkk up then! Really She’s the GWOAT accept it and move on

Whilst it's great that Saudi has injected new life into the fights that people actually care about, one of the most regrettable trends has been the rise of women's boxing in the mainstream. There's now so much goddamn column space to scroll past just to get to reading about an interesting men's fight where there's - ya know, what we all come to see - an actual danger of someone being knocked out, or the world giving a damn.

I'm almost starting to miss the era of Mayweather/Pacquiao articles ruling the column space. At least then we never, ever had to scroll past endless write-ups about women.

I feel like Clarissa Shield is the Rodney Dangerfield of women's boxing because she doesn't get much respect. Her fights aren't very exciting, she doesn't get knockouts and her mouth does more than her actual boxing. People are left feeling underwhelmed after watching her fights. If she were knocking out women, then her stock and profile would rise so quickly. Her move to heavyweight is another way for her to get noticed and get more attention. I smell another ugly decision coming for Clarissa Shields.

I think she gets people riled up because she's not humble. And what he forgot to mention is that she was calling out Keith Thurman and saying she can beat him.

But she ended up getting knocked on her butt by a part time club boxer thats pillow fisted.

Anyways she is GWOAT but needs to stay in her lane. Peace

Oh and the word you're looking for is accept. Not Except.
