is not actually new. They were talks about tha fight happening at 154 when both were ranked top 2 P4P fighters. I heard two different stories of why that fight did not happen. Floyd says Winky priced himself out and Winky says Floyd was not serious about fighting hm.

Paulie wanted to fight him. Paulie called him out. Paulie said he wanted to fight the winner of Castillo/Floyd. Floyd did not want to fight and instead chose to fight Ndou and Sosa two lesser fighters.

You cant just throw names out there and say floyd ducked them because a fight wasnt made. Just because someone wanted to fight him doesnt mean he ducked them. Everyones gonna call him out because thats where the money is. @ 140 he wanted the Tszyu fight bad but he got beat. Hatton wanted no part of the US at the time and thats a fact. And Arum wasnt putting Cotto with Floyd @140. @147 Sharmba was just an introduction to WW and the zab fight was bs but people wanted to see it. Baldomir was the WW champ and if he didnt fight him people would have said he ducked him. He wanted Mosley and its a fact that Mosley declined the fight at the time. Nobody can blame him for fightng oscar and Hatton was a fight that everyone wanted. Yes Arum offered 8 million to fight Margarito but with a stipulation that he would have a stake in Floyds future fights. He would have been ****** to take that deal because at that time de la hoya said he would never do business with arum.
