Now he wants to fight Mike who has some serious medical issues. Those videos you see of Mike sprinting 20 yards, are 3 years old. Anybody reporting that? I give Jake credit for being a fabulous snake oil salesman. But, there comes a time that people have seen enough of the gimmick. That time is now before us, Jake.
The Amalie Arena in Tampa holds between 19+ k and 21+ k depending on the event. It's far from a Ballroom. I watched the event last night for the boxing , not for the ridiculous "Main Event". To be honest , the circus looks like it's doing really well. There aren't many real boxers who draw the crowd that Paul does , unfortunately. P.T. Barnum was right , there's a sucker born every minute.Whether the people are boxing fans or fans of the circus , I don't know for sure but I'd bet that it's the latter. People know that Jake Paul isn't much of a boxer and his opponents even less so , but they don't care. Shlt , look at the crowds that " Professional Wrestling " draws. Everyone knows that it's fake but they don't care. It doesn't say much for us as a country. Dimwits everywhere. The Cjrcus will survive.

If boxing continues stepping up its game, and Paul’s relevancy dwindles, I would say it’s coincidental. Probably more a case that Jake Paul boxing is no longer a novelty to his audience and they’re tired of it, especially as it’s become stale
I agree. Jake Pauls thing is not the same as the boxing thing. Yes , they have a ring and there's boxing going on , but his audience and the boxing audience are very different. The people who go to those events are not the same people watching Inoue fight at 5am in the states , or at a Vergil Ortiz fight.

He still has plenty of fights to milk, the Tyson fight will probably be successful. He can then make his run through the geriatrics like Holyfield, Roy Jones jr etc...

Mike Perry had little boxing skills, he was a walking punching bag, employed zero defence. I'm a fan of his in bareknuckle, the guy is tough as nails, and his style suits bareknuckle because he can take one to give one. In bareknuckle all it takes is one shot, and it doesn't even need to be a knockout shot, bare knuckle opens up cuts easily and there are lots of ref stoppages
