Interesting that Mickey Bey was recently a pro boxer that immediately turned into a trainer. Solid fighter that gave Barthelemy and Kambosos a run for their money.

Whats wrong with those type of fights!? most of the "opponents" with those records know how to survive.

Because if they get stopped they're banned for a couple months and can't get paid.

This is essentially their day job, it allows the up and comer to get a few rounds under their belt and experience dealing with an awkward opponent.

As a debut I think it's fine, it's getting the fighter used to being under the lights, with lighter gloves etc. It's when fighters are getting first round stoppages against these kind of records when they're 3/4/5 fights in which is pointless.

Imo they should be trying to solve a journeyman's style, not knocking them out in the first round. Of course that's what viewers want to see but it feels heavily exploitative.
