First came the fight, and then Keyshawn Davis weighed in. That's the new order of business in boxing today, and unbeaten lightweight contender Davis - a 2020 U.S. Olympic silver medalist - maximized the tactic Saturday night after watching his Top Rank stablemate and fellow lightweight Raymond Muratalla notch a victory by decision over former 130-pound champion Tevin Farmer.

These kids are not trash talking like the greats used to..The Ali's the Camachos, they are saying stoooopid sh.it..bunch of two pump chump premadonas..Fragile beta males that condone snitching and the likes..they grew up idolizing the local losers and combined it with social media poison..it's almost like a form of boxing-drill-X drama..like dogs that bark at each other, but just behind a fence

Talking trash is fine, as long as you back it up against top talent regularly.

Yeah trash talk is good for the sport, as long as the fighters don't cross the line and bring race or religion into it, especially for hyping up a fight. But, if they're going to talk trash then they need to back it up and take the next step and get the fight made.

they have to sell the fights. the promoters and managers take a huge chunk of their cash but they do little to actually PROMOTE the fight even if that is in their title.

yeah some of it is annoying sometimes but its what works. yeah rolly is a good example he talked himself into some big pay days

There's a lot of boring trash talk. Fighters should only do it, if they are good at it. We know they are going to fight anyway. It's waste of time if it's not entertaining

Rolly almost talked himself into a mental hospital…Kid gives me second hand embarrassment every time he opens his mouth…The trash talk during the Tank fight was I think the cringiest trash talking I ever saw.
