I hope Dirrell doesn't end up being the next Jeff Lacy!

Well for starters there is absolutely NO HYPE around Dirrell. No one knows who the hell the guy is besides us boxing junkies.

Two, they are nothing alike. Dirrell is a pure boxer whereas Lacy was being compared to Mike Tyson.

Three, Froch is the favorite to win the fight, not dirrell.

Four, Carl Froch couldn't do a "calzaghe" to a bum off the street cuz he's not a boxer, his boxing skills suck. He's just a tough SOB that never quits.

Doubtful, the fight will not be a 12 drubbing. Froch could put Dirrell to sleep but the fight will be nothing like Calzaghe-Lacy (atleast from that end Dirrell could make Froch look like Lacy but that is far from a sure thing).

Also Lacy was talked up big time before hand, while people were downplaying Joe. Dirrell is one of my favorite prospect but he is not getting big upped like Lacy, if anything it is Froch that is getting the major props before hand, but he does actually deserve them (most of them anyways).

Jeff Lacy is a one armed fighter ,his left hook an can't land it half of the time.Dirrell and Lacy shouldn't be in the same sentence.

Are you kidding me? Dirrells getting hyped like crazy around here (mostly by americans).

hahaha, where is the hype?!? There are like 4 people who predicted dirrell would beat Froch, me being one of them! (and I'm no way confident at all in my prediction)
