Comments Thread For: Timothy Bradley Jr.: 'If Canelo Alvarez fights Chris Eubank Jr., he has a yellow streak'

Out of all the US analysts Bradley is one of the best.
But in this case, where is this same energy for Ennis, and especially Tank Davis, who still has never fought a 50:50 fight at the age of 30?
By 30 Canelo had fought monster GGG twice and Mayweather too. Not to mention a couple other world class opponents (GGG was robbed of course).
You could even argue Crawford has a yellow strip in his back and is soft given his lack of credible threats.Comment

You don't know your history friend. Yes, Julio Cesar Chavez was one of the greats, but he fought his share of bums -- many more than Canelo ever will. Here are a few examples. JCC followed up his fight with Hector Camacho with Bruce Pearson who had 10 wins and 10 losses. After the Meldrick Taylor fight Chavez fought some guy named Akwei Addo who had a 5-3 record. In 1995 he fought Craig Houk in Chicago. Houk had a stellar record of 51-25 at the time. Look up any great fighter and you will find they fought more mediocre fighters than great ones. Look up Ali's record, Ray Robinson's, Joe Louis's, and any of the all-time greats. There are no exemptions. Look at Tim Bradley's record. Sme thing. So why is Canelo so special?Comment

I can’t get over the fact that Benavidez has been the WBC mandatory for over 2 years and they won’t strip Canelo of that belt.Comment
