I listened to the Youtube live ringside commentary of their first fight and it sounded like a real slobberknocker.
If anyone saw the fight, does it look like either of these guys can make a real run for elite level? Or is it too soon to tell?

I was hoping Wardley/Clarke II was happening on the AJ/DDD card.

That is the fight that broke my heart. I remember seeing this kid, light on his feet, really good instincts, very nice hand speed and really good head movement.

The fighter that I saw that had the same name Fabio could not have possibly been the same fighter. There's no way I mean I know it is I just can't accept it. Where did my Fabio go? The fighter for that night? He was fat, sluggish, in love with his power, and forgot all his good instincts. Disappointment

Maybe I'm just insane. But I feel like Fabio lost all his better instincts in that fight. He's nothing special if he just uses power. I mean we've got nothing but big fat heavy weights who are slow and gas out. Do we really need another chilang, hergovich, etc?

I would implore anybody to watch fabios early fights. I saw fantastic potential

Maybe he doesn't train properly and his head is not fully in the game. It takes a certain commitment that not all fighters have.
His next few fights should help establish a pattern to help observers answer those questions.

I just don't get it... I mean if you watch highlight films of him, his resetting, his head movement, his lateral movement... it was insanely good, and its like he abandon all of that to slug it out! But your right... he did not seem in great shape for that last fight. But Fabian and Moses Ituema are my two favorite prospects.

He weighed his highest vs. Clarke (243). He still has hand-speed and fighting instincts, but I think his overall inexperience is the primary issue. It was only his first time going 12 rounds. His athleticism and durability kept him in there. I'm interested to see how he improves in the rematch. If he can be defensively sharper at the beginning, he'll probably KO Clarke before the championship rounds.
