"which leaves the door open for Stevenson (22-0, 10 KOs) to potentially slug it out with his No. 1 contender Zepeda (31-0, 27 KOs)"
What??? I am not sure if Stevenson even slugs it out with the heavy bag.

Signing with turki is the best option. It keeps the tank, Loma, and zepeda fights alive because turki has a working relationship with every promotional company

The August 3rd card has Crawford, pitbull, andy ruiz, big baby Miller and big baby anderson on it. All fighters from different promotions.

signing with turki guarantees big purses and no politics

It shouldn't be that fighters need to be under the same promoter to make fights. Very bad for boxing.

What's this crap about Shakur having to sign with Golden Boy to fight Zepeda ? Zepeda is the #1 contender. The fight should be mandated by the Alphabet Gang. If I was Zepeda , I'd be very unhappy with my promoter playing with my title shot like that. In fact , my lawyer would be firing off a letter about how my promoter has a DUTY to further my career ,and not their own roster at my expense.

It's a big part of what's ailing boxing. The worst in my opinion.

Is this really a promotional issue though? If Zepeda was favored I'd bet promotion ties wouldn't be an issue.

That sounds about right to me, and that's no hustle.
