Well, be mad at the consensus of boxing writers who validate that statement by continually voting him that.

They had him at #1. He retires for two years. Comes back and slaps around a Mexican lightweight. The writers then vote him #1a.

How is that absurd?
Floyd is saying he is the best. That is his opinion of himself.
My question is : how absurd could that opinion really be when it is validated by the mainstream boxing establishment? You know what would be absurd? Jason Litzau saying he is the best. If Shane, pac, Floyd, Bernard, PWill, JMM, etc say they are the best, then it isn't absurd. Heck, was it absurd of Nacho Beristain to say that he thinks Floyd is the best?

Forget the excuses. Floyd's excuses are lame. "Too many losses. steroids. Etc". The only time he is telling the truth is when he says that a guy doesn't bring enough money to the table. He does not want to fight these guys. Period. What are you gonna do - let that tear you up inside? Or let it go?

But what im saying is the stigma of using steroids, has been attached to him and Floyd wants it to be known that he was using them. Can you imagine how it would make him feel if he walks down the street and someone says, 'hey, thats Mosley the guy that used steroids'......


I know much of the boxing world is keeping it under the carpet but i remember what Floyd said a little while back, something like if it had been him using steroids the journalists would have killed him. This is proberbly why he keeps mentioning it, so that people dont forget.


Plus, what Floyd says is right. Had he been using steroids the boxing world have killed him about it.
