There needs to be a sack shot stat for low blows.

Just comparing the compubox stats between the Ennis/Ava fight and the Crawford/Ava fight

Boots definitely landed more shots per round than Bud did. Of course, Avanesyan had a full training camp and was 2 years younger vs Bud.

The interesting thing here is that Avanesyan landed more shots per round on Boots than he did on Bud.

Ennis only got hit with five more punches. Crawford's jab was clearly the biggest difference. I think it's safe to say TC has a more educated jab.

But those punches were pretty flush, unlike those he landed on Bud. What's interesting is that Bud landed a small percentage of his punches and landed half the punches Boots did, but got the job done in more devastating fashion in about the same amount of time. His strategy was to throw pitty pat shots to open up Ava for the killshot.

Whereas Ennis didn't use the jab much and chose to bludgeon Avanesyan with power punches that Ava could see and brace himself for. Different approach, similar outcome. The knockdown came from finesse. Ennis reminds me of Spence, but the major difference is the jab. Spence's jab is a primary weapon, which TC neutralized with his better jab + sharp counterpunching. Ennis seems to share traits with both Spence and Crawford, but he really is his own animal.

Boots has a beautiful jab that for some reason he doesn't wanna use consistently, that will hurt him in the long run if he doesn't fix it.

Ennis has an intimidating offensive arsenal. Once he learns to effectively use all of his tools regardless of the opponent, the sky is the limit.

I think it's safe to say boots has a really nasty jab, boots didn't box avenysan he literally sat his face on his avenysans gloves like he was sparring him in the ring. He didn't jab, he didn't jump angles, he didnt use his shell defense, he didn't do much of anything but work on his timing for a couple rds then literally jump on him and beat the **** out of him, using no skill at all, it was pretty disrespectful.

Ok boots reminds you of spence when he fights inside, I never seen spence jump angles on offense or defense, I never seen spence curl punches around the guard like boots, I never seen spence roll punches while countering, never seen spence use different variations of defense, or a shell, I never seen spence turn bladed behind a shell on the inside, and this is jyst inside.

who does he remind you of with his mid range fighting and his outside fighting, when he's on the back foot, or walking down on the front foot. I don't think people realize how much this giy really has in his bag, he only jumped 1 angle in this whole fight. I don't even think he used his philly shell at all. He didn't try. He just disrespectfully walked threw him there's nothing to take from this fight
